Month 1: I was so excited to see that blue line, somewhat surprised, but excited. Things I was not expecting, but got to experience for the first time: my chest was really tender, I had to pee A LOT, and I was SOOOOO tired.December 2010
Month 2: I don't know why but I have yet to remember to take a picture of me in month 2 of a pregnancy. It could be that I never really look pregnant, so what is the point. This month I was feeling pretty yucky. Everything made me gag. Thankfully, nothing ever made me throw up.

Month 3: Somewhere in this month my morning sickness disappeared. My only symptom this month was exhaustion. Though it is possible that was just a result of dealing with my girls, the holidays, and Jon's business travel?February 6, 2011
Month 4: One Sunday morning while I was getting ready for church and Kaelyn exclaimed "Whoa, Mom you are huge!" At the time I thought to myself, "Thanks cutie, but I think that statement needs to be reserved for at least a few months down the line." After taking these pictures today though I am rethinking that one. I included both pictures because it makes me laugh that I could look so much bigger in the one than the other. I took them within two minutes of each other! Other big news for this month is that as of the beginning of the month I have been feeling the baby move around in there. That has been really neat. I don't know why but this pregnancy has been so much more emotional for me. I am a lot more excited than I have been with my others. Don't get me wrong, those were exciting for me too. This is just...more so.

Month 5: I am really not very good with the whole self portrait thing.Oh well. This month was a good one. It went by super fast for me. I am very excited that I am more than half done now.

Month 6: Kind of funny that I was accidentally wearing the same outfit as last month. I have had a lot of aches and pains this month. The type I normally get in month 8 or so. Only 3 more months. I am sure that they will just fly by. Time is just like that for me! I can't believe that it has already been six months!

Month 7: I spent pretty much this whole month ignoring the fact that I was pregnant, after all I had a cross country move to make.
Month 8: I have really enjoyed this month, well aside from the aches and fatigue. It has been nice to kind of take a month off of "normal" life. I have really enjoyed being with Jon's family. My girls love their aunt and uncles and all the extra attention they are getting. We've enjoyed being together as a family, that is one of the few perks of unemployment. We are now into the final stretch and getting very anxious to welcome our new little one into the world.

You look great! And I love the blue shirt in the Jan. pics! I've decided that the first trimester is definitely worse than the last trimester.... even though the last one I am fat and uncomfortable...at least I have some motivation to do more than lay on the sofa. Enjoy!!
congrats on baby #3! you look great! :)
Wow, that last picture of you is pretty crazy. I thought it was two month's worth of growth. :) I'm not even really showing yet! But I'm definitely feeling better- not nearly as tired.
You are looking so good. Love that little baby bump! Can't wait to see you grow even more :)
You're definitely showing WAY more than me (that's a compliment!)! You look great! I'm excited to really start showing. :)
Well, someone said something to me that has really struck a chord: it sure goes by fast when it's someone else! You look great!
Amen to the perks of unemployment -- especially when there is a new baby! Aaron was on summer break when Zeke was born and looking for work when Nora was born, so he was home all the time when they were brand new. I really appreciate it now that he's gone all day!
